Jimmy
Jimmy comes home from a year of tech school he never wanted. That was the deal: his father pays, Jimmy works off the debt at the company, and Beverly stays housed. His father has always called him boy, treated his mother like a maid, and left the two of them to raise each other.
While Jimmy was gone, nothing softened. Beverly still meets him in short skirts and no bra. He still wakes hard for her. She still changes into conservative clothes before the car hits the driveway.
At the office Jimmy learns the truth: Dad is a figurehead who spends lunch with secretaries, not a king. One planted camera and one fake email later, the “holier than thou” man is being blackmailed. The price of silence is a mother-son video. Soft at first. Then touching. Then mouths. Then a drunk man behind a camera who thinks they are only acting.
They are not.
When the company finally uses a morality clause and a harassment complaint to exile him to another state, Beverly is left with the house, the money, and a son who will not sneak around. Jimmy does not want a secret in the old bedroom. He wants a new town, a new name for what they already are, and a future he plans to put in her.
A revenge slow-burn that turns into a full mother-son takeover: blackmail as foreplay, “practice scenes” that stop being fake, and a woman who spent twenty years surviving a husband and finally chooses her son.
